A young family living in a 1925 home with only one bathroom has outgrown their space and needs an addition. With a budget of $250,000, they want to create a circular floor plan that includes an updated kitchen, dining area, laundry room, second bathroom with a shower, storage space, and a home office. We achieved this by building a single-story addition over a crawl space. The addition housed a new kitchen with updated amenities, a mudroom with storage, and a casual dining room. The existing kitchen and dining room became the first-floor bathroom, laundry room, and home office.

The Owens Construction team took on a remodeling project with a contemporary mountain home outside their usual service area. The interior was designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding forest, with the stairway being a focal point of the project. Thick oak timber treads with a stainless-steel rod system created a visual connection with the exterior. The remodeled stairway offers an immersive experience with custom handmade touches, providing transparent views of the forest.
