We arrived just in time!

Located in the Olde Town East neighborhood near downtown Columbus, this incredible home was originally built in 1900. At some point, an addition was added to the first floor on the back of the house, which was pulling away and causing structural damage to the first and second floors.
We partnered with the homeowners to design and build an addition that blends the charm of the original home with the new modern space, while also restoring the home’s structural integrity. The result was stunning!
The updated kitchen addition features New Haven quarter-sawn white oak cabinets enriched by cherry wood accents in the bar area. The custom-cut black soapstone backsplash and countertops offer an old-world appeal with a modern twist. Natural light from the new windows fills the room with a cozy glow, and the new white oak flooring transitions seamlessly into the existing dining room. On the exterior, the homeowners chose board and batten siding in a warm, earthy green tone.
