Creating a Retreat
The goal of this primary suite addition and remodel in the Village of Riverlea was to create a resort retreat at home. We partnered with the homeowners to design and build their dream second floor primary suite, complete with a private balcony overlooking their backyard.
The addition was constructed over the existing first-floor sunroom and extended out to add a balcony with a covered outdoor living space below. The spacious primary bathroom features a walk-in shower with a built-in bench and a separate soaking tub for ultimate relaxation.
The veining in the Statuario Marble countertops on the vanity, tub deck and shower complement the pure white tile selection. We built a large walk-in closet that provides the perfect amount of storage and Andersen windows combined with French doors fill the suite with natural light and open onto the balcony. With CableRail, the balcony has uninterrupted views. Just outside the primary suite we added a convenient second-floor laundry area to improve the home’s functionality.
